Terms and Conditions

IMPORTANT UPDATE - Credit Card Payments:
All credit card payments made to Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Operations & Training Corporation (RPASOTC) for any services rendered shall attract an additional surcharge of 3.5% over and above the total invoiced amount.
Payments made via Electronic Mail Transfer (EMT) and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) through your bank, or via PayPal shall NOT attract any surcharge. Please write to info@rpasotc.ca for details.

REGISTRATION - Individual and/or group RPAS Ground School (online or in-person) and/or RPAS Flight School:
Your registration shall be fully refunded when Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Operations & Training Corporation (RPASOTC) receives written notice of withdrawal fifteen (15) business days before the RPAS Ground School and/or RPAS Flight School start date. When notification is received by RPASOTC less than fifteen (15) business days before the RPAS Ground School and/or RPAS Flight School start date, or after the course self-study material and/or course material has been mailed, couriered or sent electronically, the registration fee shall be forfeited.
If you are unable to attend the RPAS Ground School and/or RPAS Flight School you have registered for, RPASOTC may, under special circumstances, agree to have you transfer your registration to another candidate. At the discretion of RPASOTC, if a transfer is allowed, it shall only apply upon receiving explicit and written consent from RPASOTC. RPASOTC reserves the right to refuse a transfer of registration. CANCELLATION - RPAS Ground School (online or in-person) and/or RPAS Flight School:
Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Operations & Training Corporation (RPASOTC) reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a scheduled session that lacks sufficient registrations to provide a satisfactory learning atmosphere. In this event, your registration fee shall be applied to the rescheduled RPAS Ground School (online or in-person) and/or RPAS Flight School session, or refunded in full in case of a cancellation.

REGISTRATION - Flight Review-RPAS:
Your registration fee shall be fully refunded when a written notice of withdrawal is given ten (10) business days before the Flight Review-RPAS date. When written notification is received less than ten (10) business days before the Flight Review-RPAS date, the registration fee shall be forfeited.
Flight Review-RPAS may be rescheduled due to weather, in which case no penelties will apply, as long as the rescheduled date is within seven (7) business days of the original date, subject to weather and availability of a Flight Reviewer.

CANCELLATION - Flight Review-RPAS:
Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems Operations & Training Corporation (RPASOTC) reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a Flight Review-RPAS. In this event, your registration fee will be applied to the rescheduled Flight Review-RPAS or refunded in full in case of a cancellation.
If the Flight Review-RPAS has to be rescheduled due to weather, you, the Flight Reviewee, shall provide written notice to the RPASOTC Flight Reviewer at least eight (8) hours ahead of the appointment time. You, the Flight Reviewee, must book another appointment with an RPASOTC Flight Reviewer within seven (7) days of the original appointment date and the rescheduled date must be mutually agreed upon, in writing, between you, the Flight Reviewee, and the RPASOTC Flight Reviewer.
